In today’s world, young people are constantly surrounded by digital devices, with smartphones, tablets, and computers becoming integral parts of their daily lives. As technology continues to evolve and influence nearly every aspect of our routines, the need for a healthy balance between online and offline activities has never been more important. This was the driving force behind a remarkable project that took place from September 21-27, 2024, in Italy, aimed at promoting digital wellness and encouraging young people to take control of their screen time.

The project provided participants with opportunities to reconnect with themselves, nature, and each other in a world where technology often takes the forefront. The initiative aimed to raise awareness of the negative effects of excessive digital consumption, such as its impact on mental health, physical well-being, and social relationships. Through a series of engaging activities and workshops, the participants—youth from various backgrounds—learned the importance of managing their technology use mindfully and consciously.

The project was not just about reducing screen time; it was about fostering connections—both with technology and with the people around us. Through workshops, group discussions, and shared experiences, participants formed lasting bonds and supported each other in their journey toward healthier digital habits.

We are very happy to be a partner in this project. Thank you to everyone for this excellent opportunity.
